VITALINK F Series Filters
Inline type combination carbon and KDF filter which is to be used for the reduction of chlorine and other small dirt, rust, sand, sediment and scale. All materials used in the construction of the filter meet both NSF International and USFDA standards for use in potable "drinking" water systems. All manufacturing techniques and methods used are all generally accepted and approved. Including: NSF Internation Standard 42, NSF International Standard 61, NSF International Standard 14. USFDA Administration Title 21, FOOD CHEMICALS CODEX B604-74, AWWA Standard for Powered Activiated Carbon - AWWA B660-78, Water Quality Association S-200 Standrards and United Kingdom Water Fittings Bylaws Scheme.
The standard period for storage and preservation of the filter product is one year. This is based upon the fact that unless exposed to extremely highly levels of airborne contaminants the carbon filters will not deteriorate or become unusable. Standard packaging and sealing of the product with end caps preserves and prevents carbon contamination.

Moulded
Openings:
Filter openings are moulded into the body to prevent common problems of leaking associated with mechanically tapped threads.
Filtration Pads:
Inlet and outlet filtration pads are sonically perimeter welded to prevent sediment and carbon bypass. Media: Exclusive VITAPLUS™ media include coconut shell or bituminous carbon, KDF55D, and hexametaphosphate (VP series).
Inlet Diffuser:
The inlet water flow is redirected by the diffuser for more even flow across the filter bed. This feature prevents channelling and increases filter efficiency.
Spin Welded Housing:
Moulded polypropylene housing is sealed using a spin welding process. This procedure eliminates the use of adhesives and ensures a perfect weld. Maximum burst pressure is 300psi.
